Most people who know me are aware that I have major issues sleeping,so I spend a lot of time at night either reading or surfing the net. Since I'm addicted to scrap, I surf many a blog and websites to find new and intersting projects to make. I found this mini album in the cricut site and decided to make my own. I was also looking for instructions for the flip flop album, but came across a real "flip flop" album and decided to make it.
Today was another Crop for a Cure in Westbury. My table consisted of Beau, Tanya, Mom and myself. This was the first time Beau met Tanya and my Mom. Everyone got along and it was a good group. Anyone who scraps knows that if you don't feel comfortable with your tablemates, it could be a very long day. I have to say, I was on a roll today like never before. I started off making 4 sample cards for a class I'm going to teach at Scrapaholics in West Hempstead, NY and then went right into doing 24 layouts. Yes, that's right, I said 24 layouts. Plus I did an altered CD mini album. How, may you ask did I get that much done? Well, being prepared is key. I had sketched un advance my layouts and pulled the papers I was going to use, it also helps that I started the day with a Venti caramel macciato from Starbucks. I'm posting a two page layout that I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. I don't usually do a one picture layout, but the pictures were so good that I had to in this instance. I used 7 different papers in these layouts.
As I'm organizing my photos on my laptop, I realize there are lots of different projects I've worked on that I haven't posted so, here are some of the paper craft that I've been busy with lately. The last picture is the whole family at a wedding held over memorial day weekend. I'm the one is the second row with the brown/black/white dress.
